BACK TO SCHOOL: The afternoon we met up with her, Julie Ann San Jose was whining about her numerous assignments in class.
She said she has just re-enrolled as a third year Communication major at the Angelicum College after having been out of school for one semester. The singer-actress says she wants to finish her college degree no matter how hard it takes.
Julie Ann met members of media in her capacity as an endorser of Get Laud, a line of ladies’ apparel that she puts on display on her shows, including GMA’s fresh-new show, “Sunday All Stars.”
She says Get Laud’s prints and colors suit her trendy personality.
QUADRUPLE PLATINUM: With over 600,000 followers on Twitter, Julie Ann is a walking advertisement of her showbiz career. She credits her active role on line for having sold 80,000 copies of her debut album. The album, with “I’ll Be There” as carrier, was honored with a quadruple platinum award recently, a rare feat in the local music industry today.
Julie Ann is working on her second album, but warns that she’s feeling too pressured by the success enjoyed by her debut CD.
“I’m just glad that I can help, in my own little way, promote OPM,” she said.
